The terms "composite deck" or ""low-maintenance deck" are used by many to describe the same thing. Composite deck materials,
in most cases are formed by combining both plastic and wood particles together through a heat extrusion process. Composite decks are a very popular option for those who want a low-maintenance outdoor
lifestyle. We typically build using the following brands of composite materials: TimberTech®, Trex
®, Evergrain® & WeatherBest®. |

Composite decks can be: |
- Low-Maintenance. This means there is no need to seal or water proof your deck. Due to the plastic nature of composite materials they are not as susceptible to rot and aging like standard wood.
- Color fade resistant. Most composite materials maintain their color well through out the entire structure and do not fade much. This feature is the reason that staining for color is not necessary.
- Splinter free, most composite materials are almost void of sharp pieces that lead to splinters now or in the future.
- Slip resistant - The composites that we use have engraved textures and patterns that add traction to your deck surface..

Important:
We suggest visiting each composite manufacturers website to learn more about the individual product. There are benefits to each depending on your personal tastes and budget. If you come across composite brands other than the ones we work with, be sure to research it carefully, if a product does not have a website there is a good chance that the product is discontinued, factory 2nd or unwarranted.
